Final URL Expansion
Google Ads introduced the Performance Max Campaign type about a year ago, which aims to increase sales and conversions. As part of this campaign type, Google offers the Final URL Expansion feature, which allows you to customize the landing page based on the user's search intent. By using this feature, you can ensure that the landing page is more relevant to the user, potentially increasing the likelihood of a conversion.
One important feature to consider when setting up your Google Ads is Final URL expansion. This allows your ad to be shown on additional searches that are likely to lead to more conversions, improving the overall performance of your ad. The Final URL is the address of the page that users will be taken to when they click on your ad, also known as the landing page.
You can customize the Final URL to a more relevant landing page based on the user's search query and intent. Google will use the content from the alternative landing page to dynamically adjust the headlines for your ad. Additionally, you can choose to exclude certain web pages that you do not want to send traffic to.
If you are new to the performance max campaign, we recommend that you mark this option off.
