You can add keywords with different match types (exact, broad, phrase) to Google search ads. This may lead to your ads showing up on different searches which include your keywords once you use words or phrases appended with broad and phrase match types.
To avoid this, it is significant to use negative words. By making a list of keywords that may be completely against your business goals, you can easily keep them out of your ads. Let's take a look at how to add your negative keyword lists to your Google Ads account.
Log in to your Google Ads account, and navigate to > "Tools & Settings" (1) > "Negative keyword lists" (2)

Click on "+" sign to create a new negative keyword list

Give your list a name Add your negative keywords line by line
